We are 40 Roomors, a duo team from Thessaloniki, Greece.
Our Influences
Domniki is an architecture graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a passion for artistic expression and interior design, combining aesthetics with functionality. Yiannis is a contemporary artist whose main expressive medium is graffiti, through which he expresses his perception of space and composition. We have been active in the field of weaving since 2021, developing tufting techniques, while also experimenting with traditional techniques such as vertical loom.
Since 2023, we have had our atelier in Thessaloniki, where we enjoy our creative time and also organize tufting workshops, actively promoting modern weaving. The main characteristic of our works is the multi-layered embossed texture and the mixture of abstract motifs. Our goal is the reintegration of textiles into the field of contemporary life, as an integral part of our cultural heritage. The spectrum of our creations extends from small-scale tapestries to wallpapers for covering large surfaces, floor mats and installations, always focused on tactile experience. Our work is addressed both to the artistic field (exhibition spaces, private collections), and b2b interior decoration services.
